So this year, as always, we have been running back and forth between Calgary and High River. My parents live in High River and Karleys aunt and uncle live in Calgary. We always have so much fun, but I always want to go home and relax.
Christmas was great. Karley was happy that I heard her cries for a Cricut Expression, and I am happy that she heard mine for a Ukelele. The cool thing about the Uke is that it came from Hawaii!! Karley's cousin went to Hawaii a few months ago and aparently picked it up for me and brought it back. It is super cool and pictures will be up soon.
Marshall had a fun time playing with all his cousins. And to add to our joy was that he is actually sleeping ALL night. I think it might have to do with staying up too late. But nevertheless, we are happy that he is sleeping until at least 8 o'clock. He usually goes to bed at 7:30, sleeps till about 3 or four, we have to come get his soother, then he goes back to sleep until about 6.
We went out Boxing day shopping and I have to say that it was not that bad. I went to Future shop and picked up a few things in the morning (morning; definition; when no one else is awake and Irish is so bored). The lines were not bad. I went back a few hours later and there was a line that was at least 30-40 people long!! Then, we went to Chinook Mall. That was stupid. Although I did find a pair of shoes and a pair of slippers that I fell in love with. Yes, I am a man and I fell in love with shoes, is that so bad?!
We went back to High River just to chill out with my parents and siblings. It was pretty cool. We borrowed our friends Wii, and got my parents to play bowling. It was pretty funny. My dad killed all of us, but Karley got 4 strikes in a row!
Now it is almost new years eve and I have to go back to Lethbridge so that I can drive some drunks home in a limo. Of the 4 New Years that we've been together, we've only had 1 together. That is the crappy part of my job, but it pays well, and I have an awesome boss. I'll let you know how the night/morning goes.
Oh and by the way- we are expecting #2 at the end of summer next year.
